TAPESTRY

TAPESTRY - short for Travel awareness, publicity and education supporting a sustainable transport strategy in Europe - has been a research initiative with the objective to increase knowledge and understanding of how to develop effective communication programmes to support sustainable transport policies in Europe. This has been achieved through the application of best practice in the communications field gathered from previous research (both within and outside the transport sector), and a range of 20 large demonstration projects, which cover both passenger and freight transport.
