City of Reykjavik, Iceland
The City of Reykjavik is working with the newly created "Greater Reykjavik Transport" to increase modal share for public transport. As an intermediate follower, the city is preparing a state of the art report on campaigns and related events carried out in Reykjavik and the surrounding area. This includes a report of one of the first ever "Car Free Days" in Europe. A campaign plan, informed by the experiences learnt from the TAPESTRY consortium will be drafted towards the end of the project and a workshop to launch the ideas incorporated in the plan will be held in 2003.
