Individualised Marketing Viernheim (Germany)

An individualised marketing project was realized from January 2001 until May 2001 in Viernheim, Germany. During the action 3.800 households were contacted to promote sustainable transport. The target groups received during the action requested information concerning environmentally friendly modes of transport. Regular users of public transport were confirmed in their mobility behaviour by a present. For convincing households who never used public transport, a test ticket was offered to interested/interesting househoulds.

The second part of the project in autumn 2002 will encourage companies in Viernheim to use more environmentally friendly modes of transport with methods of individualised marketing.
