Workpackage 6 - European Level Implications and Recommendations

WP6 is a development from Workpackage 4, the Common Assessment Framework.

The objective of WP6 is to conduct a European level cross-site, cross-thematic assessment of the TAPESTRY initiative to assess the common European obstacles and success criteria emerging but also to seek good practice, cost effective innovation across Europe in travel communication strategy-making that has a direct contribution to implementing transport policies and in changing travel behaviour and the climate of opinion on travel.

Using the results of the assessment and information gathered throughout the project, a wide ranging impact assessment will be undertaken looking at both direct and indirect implications of the campaigns in terms of, for example, travel behaviour and attitudes, organisation, EU added value and impacts on economy and social cohesion.

Leader of WP6 is the University of Westminster.
