DEVELOPING CAMPAIGN SOLUTIONS FOR TRANSPORT: RESULTS FROM THE TAPESTRY PROJECTPalais de la Musique et des Congrès, Strasbourg - Tuesday 7 October 2003 Can campaigns change the way people travel? Are any techniques more effective than others in affecting attitudes towards transport? How can communications strategies be used to persuade people to travel by public transport, foot or bike? These were some of the questions at the heart of the three-year TAPESTRY project, which analysed 18 sustainable transport campaigns across Europe. As TAPESTRY draws to a close, the partners are holding a one-day workshop, based on our new Best Practice Guidelines, for policymakers, transport and health professionals, researchers and campaigners.
